This system is designed for a Over The Knuckle Setup. Pictures reflect UTK configuration. The If memory serves me, they used 1 ton GM components. It involved drilling out the steering knuckle to accept the larger ball studs that were used. After considering this method, I decided to go a different route. One of my California Jeepin' buddies, Robert Yates, told me about using a ZJ tie rod from a V-8 on his TJ. One ton tie rod ends, high strength carbon steel tube, powder coated, and ready for endless miles of road and trail abuse. Our ultra strong 1.5″ OD 0.250″ wall carbon steel tubing is stronger even than 1.5″ solid mild steel, off the shelf 4130 chromoly tube, and miles beyond the undersized factory steering components.
